While the Winfield Central School is putting on the play “Jack and the Magic Beans” this weekend in the school cafeteria…the Winfield Young Peoples’ Theater was putting on the “Wizard of Oz” back in November of 1963…

Hike your Sales Tax

While we were deciding the fate of a proposed sales tax in Winfield (Tuesday)…the village board was able to hike it on their own back in July of 1967…

Looks like the tax hike was approved by voters (not me) by an unofficial vote of 904 to 806.
