Back in September of 1964 Winfield saw the official opening of Central DuPage Hospital, a restaurant called Mary’s Snacks and the announcement that stoplights would be installed at the intersection of Roosevelt & Winfield Roads (without camera’s 😉 ). All were featured on the front page of the Glimpses (of course!)…
