Player Farm

April 30, 2012

Player Farm subdivision was proposed to Winfield officials back in the Summer of 1966. Check out the map in the picture. Some of the homes would’ve been built in what is now the Winfield Mounds forest preserve. Probably a good thing this wasn’t built…I’m guessing a lot of the homes would’ve been under water at times.
